NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
Nameri National Park in Assma covers the area of 344 sqkms . The park is a great combination of green forest and wetlands traversed by Jia-Bhoroli river. Once the river was famous for angling the Golden Mahasheer during the British Raj however now angling is banned within the park allowing flourishing the fish population.

Since the jeep safaris are not there in the park it offers the great opportunities to explore the park on foot accompanied by armed forest guard. There are two watchtowers inside the park where one can stop to take the surroundings in.
