Day 1 – Arrive Delhi
On arrival, after clearing immigrations, you will be met by Mysteries of India’s representative and escorted to your hotel.
Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India, is a fusion of ancient and modern. Standing at the western end of the Gangetic Plain, it is a vibrant city rich in culture, architecture, beautiful gardens and human diversity. Its rich history is reflected in magnificent monuments, in museums and in galleries.

Day 2 – Delhi
Today you start your day with Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.Visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Mosque), Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) and its nearby markets, India Gate and drive past the Presidents Palace and Parliament.

Day 3 – Delhi – Varanasi (Flight)
Transfer to airport to board your fight to Varanasi.
You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Varanasi (Also known as Benares and Kashi) standing on the western bank of the sacred River Ganges is the most important Hindu pilgrimage. One of the world’s oldest living cities, its history stretches back into the mists of time. It has been a center of learning for over 2,000 years.
Evening tour of the downtown area by Rickshaw followed by participation in an Arti Ceremony (collective prayer) and watch the floating Diyas (lamps) on the River Ganges.

Day 4 – Varanasi
Early morning enjoy the boat ride at the Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast.
Later start for the half-day city sightseeing tour including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and the Benaras Hindu University.
Afternoon visit Sarnath.
Situated 10 km from Varanasi, Sarnath is one of the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage centres in India.

Day 5 – Varanasi – Khajuraho
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Khajuraho.
Upon arrival met and transferred to your hotel.
The temples at Khajuraho are fine examples of Indo-Aryan architecture. Often called the Temples of the Karma Sutra, they are one of India’s major attractions. Built by the rich and powerful Chandela Emperors.
Evening visit the Western group of Temples.

Day 7 – Khajuraho to Orchha to Gwalior
Morning drive to Gwalior enroute visit Orchha.
This small and beautiful town is set on a seasonal island on the bank of the Betwa River, which has been surrounded by a battlement wall, stands a huge palace-fort. The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, the most noteworthy of which is the Raja Mahal.
Later drive to Gwalior.
Check in at hotel.
Evening enjoy he sound and light show at the Fort.
Gwalior Fort: Standing on a steep sandstone hill about 100 metres high, the fort dominates the city, and is its most magnificent monument. Flanked by statues of Jain Tirthankaras, carved into the rock face.

Day 8 – Gwalior to Agra
Morning drive to Agra. Check in at hotel.
Agra was the capital of the Afghan King Sikandar Lodhi’s empire from 1501. It passed to the Mughal’s soon after and in 1526 Emperor Babar transformed Agra, giving it a unique character and beauty. A great patron of the arts, he made changes to the culture and life-style of his people, which in turn brought forth some of the finest craftsmen, artists, statesmen, warriors and nobility ever seen in this part of India.

Day 9 – Agra
It’s worth waking up bit early to visit Taj Mahal by Sunrise.
Return to hotel for breakfast.
Later proceed to visit Agra Fort and Baby Taj.

Day 10 – Agra to Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur enroute
Morning drive to Jaipur. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri: Located 40 Km from Agra, This fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 is in a superb and complete state of preservation, and within the walls are palaces and the Jama Masjid. The main entrance is the 54 metre high Buland Darwaza, the Gate of Victory.
Later drive to Jaipur. Check in at hotel.
Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan and owes its name, planning and foundation to the Maharaja Jai Singh II. In 1727 he decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to the plains, and thus Jaipur was conceived. It is also known as the “Pink City”, derived from the pink painted sandstone from which the buildings in the old walled city are constructed.
